One agent, everywhere you work.
ulx starts as a colleague in your terminal who asks before anything risky. Around it grows a family: a desktop window, phone apps, a web portal for your own servers, and a shared workspace where people and AI agents work on the same board.
Five products. One idea.
Start free in your terminal. Add the desktop and phone apps when you want them. When a team needs one place to run agents and share boards, ulx cloud and ulx artifact run on your own servers.
ulx
The terminal agent. It reads your code, runs commands and edits files, and waits for your yes before anything risky. One Go binary for Linux, macOS and Windows.
ulx desktop
A light desktop window for the agent. Pick a folder, say what you need and watch the work unfold, or follow the ulx sessions already running on your machines.
ulx mobile
Your agent in your pocket. Connect straight to your own machines, check on a running task and answer a permission prompt from the sofa. Notifications come from the app itself, never a third-party push service.
ulx cloud
A web portal on your own servers. Start agent sessions on hosted machines, give each person a private space, sign in with your own identity server or Google, and let the admin decide who may use what.
ulx artifact
A shared workspace for people and AI agents. Whiteboards, design boards, notebooks, slides, HTML dashboards and 3D scenes live in one drive. Bring your own agent; everyone sees what it is changing, live.
Free to use: ulx, ulx desktop and ulx mobile. Licence required: ulx cloud and ulx artifact. Licences are issued from the licence portal at ai.ulab24.com, and you run both on your own servers.
Working with it feels safe.
Nothing sneaks by
Every action is classified by risk. Reads inside your workspace flow through. Writes outside it, network access and dangerous commands wait for you.
Nothing gets lost
Every run is recorded on your machine. Resume it, fork it, rewind it, search it, export it. Long conversations compact themselves.
Bring your own mind
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or any server that speaks their APIs. Your self-hosted gateway is welcome here.
Small on the outside. Deep inside.
One Go binary for Linux, macOS and Windows. Your keys live in the OS keyring, not in a config file.
Bring it home.
Linux and macOS, amd64 or arm64. The script verifies the download before it installs anything.
Installs to /usr/local/bin as root, otherwise ~/.local/bin. Pin a release with --version=vX.Y.Z or pick a folder with --dir=PATH. Windows builds are published as a .zip with each release; unpack it and put ulx.exe on your PATH. Checksums are signed with the ulab24 release key in the repository.
Wish it did one more thing for your team? That's usually where the best conversations start.
